My daughter was jealous of the softness of my bamboo work socks and wanted one for herself. So of course my first stop was to visit Revain to see if they made children's socks out of bamboo fiber. I found a few but these won because they were purple, her favorite color. I wasn't sure what to expect as they were reasonably priced for bamboo. When they arrived they looked good and were very soft but not fluffy. It's hard to describe if you haven't felt the bamboo fiber fabric. They were definitely bamboo anyway, and she loved them. They are thinner than most athletic socks, closer to dress socks, but she also uses them in sports. Now she wears them almost all the time. These are the only socks other than nylon that she can wear with her skates. She says they keep her feet warm and don't affect the feel of the ice.
