This is a bit tricky to set up. I built a few of these and the first one was very difficult but the second one was very easy. I think it has something to do with the wifi router you have. (Both were set up in different locations.) Once everything is set up, everything works through the app, just like a real remote. He also has a pretty decent range. Revain's Alexa integration was good or bad for me. I have a few things that work great with Alexa but I can't figure out how to get them to work. And it's basically the same in Google Home. It's nice overall, but for now most features require direct input from the app.
