So far so good with these straps. It feels great not to have to reverse grip on higher deadlift weights. The product description states these were tested to hold 400lbs, so we'll see if they make it to that weight for me. I'm wondering if those with torn straps were going beyond that weight.I have skinny wrists, so I was surprised to find that the wrap itself was just right, and only wraps the bar up to my thumb. This is enough for me, but would probably be a tad short for someone with big wrists.The cushion doesn't help much, and is rough on the skin. I was able to adjust it to incur minimal rubbing, but a stitched cotton would probably suit these straps better.Otherwise, another great product from Dark Iron fitness. I'll update my review if I have any issues in the early months of its use.The strap itself has a bit of stretch. It feels good to get the stretch under tension when wrapping it around the bar, but I am concerned it will rip prematurely. No problems yet, but if that happens I'll update my review.
