One of the joysticks on my PS4 controller is almost worn out. To be honest both joysticks didn't feel optimal as 5 years has really taken its toll on the controller. So instead of buying a new controller for something so insignificant, I settled on this one. It will take some time to get used to, especially if you are used to playing games at a frantic pace. After that, once you get used to the different feel of your thumbs, you'll never notice a difference again. Also, it gives the illusion that thumb grip really matters, not in this case, but it's a nice addition and feel. Worth the effort. Plus, it adds a degree of customization if that's your thing.
