Review on Bedsure Viscose Bamboo Sheets 4 Piece by Amy Lindsey

Mystery labels, NOT eco-friendly!

I definitely had to do more research before purchasing these sheets, but I needed new sheets fast. First, I've been led to believe that since they're technically made from bamboo, they're a more sustainable choice. Not so! A quick Google search for "bamboo viscose” reveals how chemical-laden the manufacturing process is and how dangerous it is for the environment. In addition, these sheets leave traces of washing. Yes, after washing they look even dirtier than before! I have never had this problem with other textiles. They are soft and silky but wrinkle like crazy. If wrinkles were the only issue I'd be fine with that, but that's the least of my complaints about these sheets. Look elsewhere if you're interested in more sustainable sheets (tencel/lyocell, eucalyptus, organic cotton and hemp are truly the softest on the planet from what I've read) or even just sheets that look decent.

Pros
  • 100% Bamboo Viscose Fiber: Compared with bamboo viscose blends, bamboo sheets are made of 100% bamboo viscose without other additives, which is safer.
Cons
  • Seniors
