We got 2 of these (1 grey, 1 white) for one old, big cat and one adult small cat. They love these bowls! I can see the height and width works well for them. Old guy has not thrown up in a few days. He gets respiratory infection often and can't eat from low bowls so this is definitely going help him. Little girl seemed to be getting a swollen lip from plastic allergy so this ceramic bowl is working well for her.Only suggestion if you're getting one for an older cat would be to get a white bowl. I got grey for the old guy and he's not able to see the contrast between food and the bowl clearly. He can't seem to tell from further away if there's food in the bowl or not.
