Review on STIGA Evolution Tournament-Grade Table Tennis Racket Featuring Approved Rubber For High Performance Play by Maurice Malek

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good. But expect sometime getting used to.

My Profile:I am not a pro, neither I am seasoned player.I am more for recreation and some light competition with office mates, school and college friends. I have been playing for about 10 years in this category.Review after months of use.My Style:aggressive-6, spin-4, defend-3The 'racket' as we have been calling it since childhood is huge step up for people playing in this category. I have used at least 8-10 rackets until now brands like butterfly, stiga, gti etc. This one seems to be one exceptionally 'different' than rest though from stiga family. I gave it good amount of time to get used to before writing review. Butterfly seems to be more ease on getting used to in comparison to this one.If you're buying this racket just for higher speed/spin/control ratings expect some surprises. For light game users and novice users it might turn out to be too much to handle.Pros:Light weightUniform performance from blade, no slack areasEasy grip, does not tend to get heavy as you progress your game(>1 Hr Of play)Most suited for aggressive and fast paced styleSpin quotient is good enough but as good as pace.Cons:At this quality and price tag should throw in a carrier/pouch.Expect some time getting used to it. Will not blend in your style on day one.Butterfly ones seem to be more easy on getting used to in comparison to this one.

Pros
  • Performance Ratings- Speed: 96 Spin: 94 Control: 90
Cons
