Not worth the high price tag.

I'll start off by saying I am an intermediate player who plays about 5 hours a week during my lunch breaks. I have been playing consistently for about 5 years and I am one of the better players in the office. I've purchased progressively better (and more expensive) paddles throughout the years as my game has developed. I have always "gotten what I paid for" when it comes to purchasing better paddles. I consider myself an all around player who mostly uses my backhand for defense (chops)…

Pros
  • ITTF Approved Rubber for Tournament Play
Cons
  • The racket may not be suited for outdoor play

Good paddle to take the next step from beginner

I started playing tennis table a few months ago. I got a 20$ paddle to start, and after a couple of months I felt like I was needing a better paddle to get better spin and a more powerful attack. After some research I bought this paddle and I have been really happy and satisfied with how I have performed using this one. It takes me even less effort to do the same things I used to do before with my old paddle. It’s good for a beginner that wants to jump to the next level and feels ready for more

Cons
  • The rubber may not provide enough spin for some players

Red foam squished during production?

I took it out of the package and noticed the right rubber side of the foam had somehow went from 2mm to 1mm. The package itself was not squished, it appears as if a manufacture defect happened during production. Nothing really to worry about for a beginner, especially for a $50 paddle, but something to note. Other than that, I love the weight of it, you can transition from left to right with ease.

Evolution vs the Titan racket and overall impressions.

I purchased the Evolution and the Titan rackets to compare to see if there was much difference. I consider my skill level to be very high at this game and I tested the Evolution by playing against another high level competitor and we would switch rackets. After playing around four dozen games, we both agreed that the Evolution was by far the superior racket. The spin control and defense were the most notable. There were several shots I made with enough backspin, that the ball hit on the…

Don't do it. good for me

I was very pleased with the paddle, for 3 days, until last night when I hit the edge of the table on a forehand swing and the racket broke in half at the handle. This was not a super aggressive swing, so frankly I was very surprised by this complete failure. I have played with a number of different paddles, over a number of years, and have never had a racket break like this before.Perhaps I don’t know my own superhuman strength and power? After all I have been practicing quite a bit lately, and…

Pros
  • I like this product and the sale make it very cost efficient.
Cons
  • The handle may be too thick for some players

Good racket for beginners

I gifted the racket to my friend. She's been using it for 2 weeks, and I definitely see the improvements. Not too light or heavy, not too quick or slow. All around blade.

Pros

Cons
  • The handle may not be ergonomic enough for some players

Good quality good for me

I’m not a pro by any means, just bought a couple of these to use instead of the recreation set we also have. Definitely noticed a difference. The spin is much better. Way more power - it’s actually taking a while to adjust to it and learning to control.Seems like decent quality. Two gripes:- the odour of the glue they use is unbelievably strong. Toxic strong. If they could do something to minimize the off gassing prior to packaging that would be great.- I was surprised this didn’t come with a…

Good. But expect sometime getting used to.

My Profile:I am not a pro, neither I am seasoned player.I am more for recreation and some light competition with office mates, school and college friends. I have been playing for about 10 years in this category.Review after months of use.My Style:aggressive-6, spin-4, defend-3The 'racket' as we have been calling it since childhood is huge step up for people playing in this category. I have used at least 8-10 rackets until now brands like butterfly, stiga, gti etc. This one seems to be one…

Amazing paddle! in my review

I recently got back into ping pong after a hiatus of a few years.and boy did I get back into it big time. I purchased a few paddles, and among them of course is the Evolution.my first time purchasing a Stiga! For the price point, this paddle is an incredible value. My shots are consistent, controlled, and pack quite a bit of power! The defensive capabilities of this paddle are also great. In general, this paddle has upped my game pretty significantly!Do note that off all the paddles that I've…

GREAT PADDING AND RUBBER. not great wood

The spin that is able to be produced with this paddle is amazing, however after I hit the table with the paddle (very mildy) the top of the racket split in half. It is still playable for me, and I'm not saying it's all the paddles fault (as I clumsily hit the paddle into the table) but I was surprised how easily it chipped the racket.

Pros
  • ‎90 days
Cons
  • The racket may not be easy to assemble or disassemble for cleaning and maintenance

Spend another $20 on the Carbo 7 (not sold on Walmart)

For my type of play, I am disappointed with this paddle.I'm giving it 3 stars due to the sound it makes when hitting the ball and the balance/feel of the paddle.I can blame myself for basing my purchase solely on the different Speed/Spin/Control ratings. For $65, I thought a 96/94/80 rating would have been a great buy.I'm an amateur, but I play a lot.I'm a strong backhand player, but I'm now learning to loop backspins with my forehand.Good:The rubber is good for serves.Great for defense/blocking

Pros
  • Performance-Level Table Tennis Racket
Cons
  • The racket may be too loud when hitting the ball, causing a distraction for opponents

The product is not described accurately on the case

According to the tech spec on the case of the paddle, the control score is 90(out of 100 I assume), yet this paddle has no control at all. A paddle with good control should have stick surface, and that stickiness should last longer than 20 games. I like the paddle bare bone, so once I get a chance I am gonna ask some professional to remove the rubber and put something real on it. This paddle, at this point, has no good spin(if I spin too hard, the thick rubber will also bounce the ball really…

Pros
  • The racket is designed with the latest technology to provide excellent control, speed, and spin, giving you the upper hand in any game
Cons
  • The racket may not be suitable for children or younger players

Lightweight, great spin, didn’t last too long

I loved this paddle, the weight let me get a lot of power, and the spin was phenomenal. Unfortunately it did only last about two months, I played approximately 300 games with it. I would’ve liked to see a little more longevity out of it for the price.

Pros
  • Leisure Sports & Game Room
Cons
  • The racket may not be suitable for left-handed players

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's a fast racket

It's a racket where the ball does not dwell on the rubber and leaves immediately. That makes this a fast racket and it's very light at around 160 grams. The rubbers are not very spinny but good enough to produce decent amount of spin. Because of the lightness of the racket, your recovery for the next ball will be amazingly fast. Players using this racket should be mindful of their bat angle. You need to close it as much as you can as the throw from this racket is high. It's ideal for attacking…

Pros
  • The racket comes with a high-quality storage case that provides protection and ensures that it stays safe on the go
Cons
  • The racket may not be suitable for players who prefer thicker or thinner blades

Super disappointed in my review

Really nice feel and responsiveness. Didn’t even get through warmups before the insert on the handle popped off. My $20 Play-it-again paddle has lasted for years and this $60 paddle is falling apart before a single game is played. Extremely disappointing. Walmart/Stiga please make this right.

Pros
  • It is easy to use for players of all skill levels, making it a great option for beginners as well as advanced players
Cons
  • The rubber may not be suitable for players who prefer tacky or non-tacky rubbers

Ignore claims of counterfeit product

1st off this is 100% genuine made in China official Stiga product. There is 2 or 3 reviews that have pictures of a paddle that has a B? on the handle. Now that is obviously a fake because why a B for Stiga Evolution? And the bat is just rewrapped in cellophane. All Stiga bats come in that very distinct Stiga package. If you got this then you got the real deal. The review pointing out missing periods, a couple misspelled words, & some things not being in bold is complete garbage. Don't listen to

Pros
  • Its sleek and stylish design is guaranteed to earn you compliments from fellow players and spectators alike
Cons
  • The racket may not be suitable for players who prefer lighter rackets for faster movement

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feels awesome for this beginner

Compared to the cheap paddles scattered around my local table tennis table, I can definitely tell the difference. It feels like I have more control and the lightness is noticeably helpful.

Pros
  • Excellent product for the price.
Cons
  • The racket may be too heavy for some players

Thor’s hammer good for me

I played my first pong match 3 weeks ago and instantly fell in love. I played for 14 hours over the next two days. When I returned home after my marathon of smacking balls, I found a table and bought it. Now all I needed was a new paddle because those house paddles were below me now. After some research I laid my eyes on this beauty, I knew this was the one to up my game. I waited anxiously for the paddles arrival and was not disappointed when it finally showed up. As I tore open the package…

Cons

Surprisingly Accurate!

After extensive research I finally decided on this racket. It fit my style of play perfectly. I'm a pretty good player. I'm defensive, aggressive and use spin to get out of trouble or surprise my opponent with off-speed stuff. I would say that control is it's best feature, then speed and then spin. Maybe it could have more spin but then the accuracy would be compromised and I'd rather have the control. I would recommend this – if you've been hacking around with normal paddles this will with out

Pros
  • Features Shock Dispersion Technology (SDT)
Cons
  • The racket may not have a warranty or guarantee

About me: I play for fun at my office. I played at home growing up. We play almost every day at the office and are pretty decent. Our playstyle relies heavily on applying a lot of spin, but hard hits come into play frequently as well. I prefer overhand looping returns, and hard angled shots (more aggressive). I also do hard backspin serves as well. Going from playing with a standard paddle to this made a huge difference in my game. It made it a lot more frustrating for my opponent when I could…
