Review on STIGA Evolution Tournament-Grade Table Tennis Racket Featuring Approved Rubber For High Performance Play by Taj Tyagi

I was very pleased with the paddle, for 3 days, until last night when I hit the edge of the table on a forehand swing and the racket broke in half at the handle.This was not a super aggressive swing, so frankly I was very surprised by this complete failure. I have played with a number of different paddles, over a number of years, and have never had a racket break like this before.Perhaps I don’t know my own superhuman strength and power? After all I have been practicing quite a bit lately, and my forehand is becoming massively dangerous to my opponents…. But then again, this was not a "kill the pong ball”, finishing move, kind of swing… and I wasn’t going all "Marcos Baghdatis” at the Australian open in 2012 either… which is again why I was really surprised that is particular swing broke the racket so easily. Maybe I just hit it in the sweet spot, and any racket that was in my hands at that point would have been destroyed… but it frankly, didn’t really feel like that.I've sent a message to their support team. If they provide any update I'll add that here. but for now. I would not buy this product again, especially after I have now read the other 1 star reviews and seen the number of pictures with exactly the same broken parts. Total disappointment.
