I bought this to remove cassette and after trying for many minutes I couldn't. As with others, it would be nice if the tool was a bit longer for more leverage. The main problem, however, is that the tool does not cut far enough into the bushing to maintain contact when force is applied. Also in the tool there is some play between the connection of the bushing to the body of the tool. Every time you apply force, the bushing pops out of the cartridge body and you have to use quite a bit of force to eject the cartridge. That was the one time I tried to save money and regretted it. I bought a parking tool remover with a pin attached and was able to remove the cartridge in 30 seconds. The parking tool removal tool is actually cheaper than this one, but it doesn't come with a chain whip. Do yourself a favor and get one of these with a pin if your hub/cassette allows and just take the chain whip elsewhere.
