You want nice colors and straight edges/flat surfaces that stand up straight, this is your set. Individually wrapped stacks are free from defects, paint scratches, rough edges or unstable blocks. Hape products are still made in Germany and I've never had one that wasn't of excellent quality. Buy a cheap plastic basket to store it in. there again without slamming them. What a great toy.
