I think the tablet looks great, isn't too loud, and is a good size for use around the house. Fingerprints do accumulate on the screen after some time, but they can be removed with an alcohol wipe. I should also mention that after working on the device for a number of months, I have yet to discover even the tiniest blemish on its exterior. The ability to run two programs at once is a fantastic time-saver. The iPad is a great value for the money. - metal back cover that is both revolting to the touch and highly resilient to drops. If you drop your device hard enough, the plastic on the cover could bend or the screen could crack. In addition, I'd like to point you that the metal used is a good heat conductor, so while it may feel chilly when you first touch it, it will immediately heat up when you put some weight on it. Additionally, the maker claims that the tablet is compatible with all wi-fi 8022022 standards. However, I immediately encountered issues when attempting to establish a wifi connection. The network kept dropping and reconnecting, and I spent two hours looking for a solution before discovering that Apple devices can "conflict" in IEEE 802.2ac. The issue was resolved by disabling the latter. The Apple website didn't provide me with any useful resources. Conclusion Overall, the problems aren't deal breakers by any stretch of the imagination, but they did cause me some annoyance. Don't forget. The item is decent and comfortable to use, and the pricing is reasonable.
