Review on Peru Pima - Premium 415 Thread Count Percale Queen Bed Sheet Set, White - 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton by Lisa Zimmerman

These sheets appear to be the perfect percale I've been looking for. They are medium weight and offer the cool, crisp feel everyone desires from a percale. There was a slight sheen when the package was opened, but that went away after the first wash. They wrinkle, but that's the nature of percale and I don't care. They make a nice rustle that reminds me of good hotels I've stayed at in the past. The color corresponds to the photo. The only complaint is the elastic on the sheet. While it's going in circles, I think it's essential, it's cheap and flimsy, and I suspect it won't last very long. For 100€ I expect more. I hope I'm wrong and I'm getting years off these leaves. I will not order a second set until I see how long they last. TO UPDATE! - My initial concern about the gum was unfounded. These sheets have been washed weekly and used daily and the elasticity is as great as the day I received them. We will buy a second set!
