I've bought several of these cables to keep in different locations, to charge my phone. The 6' length is useful and the braided cabling is nice - I haven't had them tear unlike the rubber sheathing on thinner cords including OEM cables. Unfortunately something in the charging tip tends to be a weak link. I've had to return some that couldn't maintain a tight connection right off the bat. Others have tended to loosen up over time so that they only charge if you position it in such a way as to create upward or downward pressure near the tip of the cable. Or it seems to be charging but then stops working after a minute and I don't notice, leaving me with a run-down battery when I need it most. Not good. So plan on replacing these cables at least a couple of times a year, and maybe more often, despite the nice sheathing.
