The hooks need to be adjusted
Interesting design. The hook that holds the entire ironing board is separate from the wall plate. You mount it behind the plate and it stays on the wall when the plate is screwed in. My husband had to hand expand the hooks, which are very stiff, to fit the legs of the ironing board as they were too far apart to hang from the crossbar that goes over the front legs. See photo. Also, the hooks should be longer so that the board can go through the iron shelf unhindered. It took a lot of effort and trouble to set up the hook.
