Out of my 20 or so 1.2 volt AA Eneloops, all but 5 or 6 tested with less than 50 mOhms resistance. But they all read out above 1.3 volts. I read that high resistance gives poor battery performance on high draw applications. So not wanting to mix may "marginal" higher resistance batteries with the good batteries or wonder why some 3 or 4 battery applications don't work well, I got rid of the high resistance batteries. The "high resistance" batteries read out on this meter anywhere between 150 and 300 mOhms. So, bottom line, this meter accomplished exactly what I was hoping for weeding out the batteries that tested good voltage-wise, but were poor performers for many of my uses due to excessive resistance.I do have several multi-meters as well as a ZTS Pulse Load Multi-Battery tester. The multi-meters did not read out the mOhms, and the ZTS meter was all over the boards with their readout on my marginal batteries and was considered unreliable.
