Great for small vans. Don't expect it to be a full blown laptop because it isn't. The entrance is pretty small so it can't suck in things like leaves. The brush attachment perfectly removes dust from small nooks and crannies and also collects cat litter perfectly. Dump it from the outside because it's one of those bagless canisters and dust can spread. I also have a small plug-in vacuum cleaner with me for weekly cleaning, but it's great for breaks and it's so small that I usually just leave it in the console. One of the best things I've bought for an RV.
