Cute characters that are not practical for their purpose
They are very cute and I honestly had to agree with what other reviewers have said. You know they sit on a shelf in my kitchen for decoration. The holes are too far back and too big to serve their purpose. The stitching also keeps falling off and then you have to clean up the mess. Not recommended for salt and pepper shakers. Also, although the items arrived in their original packaging , the packaging looked like it had been in someone's garage for a while - so be tired if you're giving something away.
