Luckily I didn't have some of the issues with this device that some others have. I was able to listen to music through headphones, plug in the charger and the phone charges. Music was paused when plugging in the charging cable, but resumes playing after pressing the play button. So I can confirm that you can charge and listen to music on the Z-Fold 2 at the same time. I used a set of standard Samsung three button in-ear headphones from an old phone and I was able to adjust the volume, pause/play music and skip to the next track by pressing the pause/play button twice. I was also able to answer and end calls with the play/pause button as expected. This worked with or without the charging cable connected to the device. I also plugged in a pair of regular stereo in-ear headphones with no controls and a standard ring tip stereo plug and it worked fine and sounded great. In general, I am very satisfied with the performance of the device at the moment. The sound was excellent and it worked as expected. I wondered if the volume would be loud enough given the unit would have to have its own amplifier to power the headphone speakers, and it's definitely louder than I can handle at high volumes with either type of headphone tested. You don't need a headphone amp. It's also very small and fairly unobtrusive, and works great with a phone in your pocket. Basically, it gives you back the headphone jack on your phone!
