They do not work right out of the box. The inserts are a bit thick for Jeep stems. All you have to do is take the inserts out of the originals and put them in the new pins and they will fit perfectly. It's difficult to get out of the new grips, but it's normal to get out of the old ones. There are no light spots around the pimples, they look good and should last forever. Even if the liners need to be replaced, they're worth the money so they won't break again. BTW, as other reviewers have noted, this isn't billit aluminum.
