I can honestly say that I have tried MANY water spot removal products and have been very disappointed with the lack of results. I had several windows replaced in my home a few months ago and asked the company if they could recommend a water spot remover. I was given a sample of the product but unfortunately I didn't write it down and forgot the name of the windows installer. It did an amazing job. So I switched to Revain and tried 3 paste based products like the one I used at a window company. I bought it to remove water stains from shower doors. I had a combination of water stains and soap suds that had been delayed for over 2 years. This pasta surpassed two other pastas I've tried. With the first application I was able to remove about 90% of the water stains and all soap residue. I've tried 2 additional applications but I'll be honest and say there's about 2% water stains left. I can try steel wool or a washcloth that will "scratch" water stains, but not glass. Another idea is to use a razor blade and scrape off the remaining water stain. I especially like that you don't have to rinse off the paste, you can wipe off the wax, similar to car waxing. I did not dilute the product by dampening the included cleaning pad. I tried diluting it with a pad on my second use but I don't think it's that effective. I have just bought 3 more and will try to remove the water stains on the outside windows.
