I searched and read reviews about sink strainers until I couldn't take it anymore. Took a break and then found this one. I have verified they are real and not fake. I just received them today so I can't comment on their durability. But they work great! They have a little rounded edge (raises them minimally) which I thought would keep debris out of the filter, but water and debris would get right in! It's easy to pick up, just touch the inside of the container to empty it, and it looks very nice. It does NOT completely cover the old drain to the brim. My drains are 4" and 9/16" wide and corroded. This filter covers rusty spots well. I am very happy with them and will let you know soon.
