Oops! "Double Whammy" of frustration! I ordered (2) of these, one for each side of my double sink. What I received is clearly not as described, made from inferior materials (not 18/8 stainless steel) and undersized as they are just under 3.5 inches in diameter. Except for the package that says "RSVP Endurance Sink Strainer". , the actual packaging reflects my observations! They will be sent back and I certainly hope NOT to pay for shipping back. I will update when satisfied in my favor.

This drain filter outperforms the competition in several ways, the best part is that detritus (the stuff you want to get rid of) doesn't get stuck in holes or have to be fiddled with to get it out. It has enough weight not to wobble or release bubbles. It is bulky and porous enough to hold very large amounts of detritus without impeding water drainage. I really like these filters. They fit snugly on the sink, allowing dirt to drain directly into the strainer. My previous screens had a beveled edge and particles stayed on the edge and didn't wash into the screen. They are also heavier than my previous ones and have a shiny chrome finish that looks cleaner and prettier than the stainless steel screens.
