It seems silly to rave about a product like this but having tried several other sink strainers and been horribly disappointed this was an absolute delight. It has enough weight not to wobble or release bubbles. It is bulky and porous enough to hold very large amounts of detritus without impeding water drainage. The flanges are thin and wide to prevent debris from collecting on the outside edges. Even the beaded flange is a great design for getting a good grip on the colander and tossing its contents in the bin.
