I have purchased four (4) sets of various sizes - 15ft; ten feet; 6 feet; and 6ft double square ends - the reviews have mostly been an excellent 5 star so I expected the risk to be minimal and there are defective items in every item made like this and from the negative reviews it is clear that the manufacturer is responsible for this one product stands. Unfortunately, I received defective goods. As with most negative reviews I had a good first experience for a while and then the first one started shorting out and I wiggled it or twisted the jack "just right" and it worked for a while. until you have to move I tried another from the batch I ordered with the same results. Worked at the very beginning, and then began to be separated. However, I was in the process of moving across the country, so I lost track of the returns process until I recently finished unpacking them and found them in my household items. This reminded me that I need to write a review (I don't write very many reviews unless it turns out that information about how bad (or how good, in other cases) a product can be is not disclosed It looked really nice (they are VERY thin and light, but I thought that would be a plus. Especially with long cables).
