What I like:* Well-made metal body* Small and easy to carry* Clear playback* Suitable for recording lessons, meetings, etc. But I have bought it to jot down notes and ideas as they arise. What I don't like: * Useless for note taking, when you press record there is a 5 second delay before recording starts. Who wants to wait 5 seconds before writing a note? * This is USB charging only. I prefer one or two AAA* rechargeable batteries. Not picky, but not designed for easy return. There was no return slip and the packaging looked like an easy-open box, but I actually had to rip the box apart to get to it.* The instructions were terrible.
