Review on 🔪 Aurora AU740XA 7-Sheet CrossCut Paper and Credit Card Shredder with Basket, in Black by Wayne Girard

Did everything it was supposed to. I'm happy with the size and durability. But the feeding slot is inconvenient to use. The protective grille (grey shutter in the picture) is poorly constructed. It has 3 positions: fully closed, half closed and open. The grinder will not work if the guard is open or fully closed. The only position it will work is when the shield/flap covers more than half of the feed slot (middle position). This is obviously done for security reasons, but it's frustrating. Why is it so open even if it doesn't work? Why can I only use the feeding chute if there is a "lid"? Seriously think about tearing it down and somehow disabling this feature.
