I've had this collar on my newly adopted rescue dog for almost a week but it looks serviceable/functional. It's good to have a rolled skin to reduce the chances of the Shorthaired Dachshund becoming irritated. These rolled collars work best for long haired dogs as they tangle less. I hope it holds up well. Update August 2022 - Small collar holds up well. Minimal cracking. Some discoloration at the end where the tags and leash are attached. I undid it so it was on the last hole. He has gained weight in the neck and I want the collar to be loose because of the heat and his traction when hunting deer, rabbits and skinks. I ordered a medium but when I received it I found the width was too big for his neck so I immediately sent it back unopened.
