I've had this installed on my 92 F350 for a few weeks now and am happy with the results. The truck is built for rock crawling and towing. The original heatsink that was on it didn't work. I was in the ditch, working back and forth to get out while the transmission heated up to the point where fluid was pouring out of the E4OD's breather tube. but I can tell you it was extremely high. After that, I realized that a much better cooling option was needed. Therefore I bought this product. I also installed a temperature sensor at the same time to ensure proper temperature control. After installation at an outside temperature of approx. 60 degrees, the temperature of the transformer is approx. 160 at maximum temperature in the future. The 180 degree switch works in my unit, but the fan wires were facing backwards, so when I first turned it on, the air was being sucked forward instead of blowing backwards. Simple flashing and it's good. Now the highest temp I've seen on the climb was 214. It's very stable and I can trust this cooler.
