Velvet curtain Absolute Zero is normal. At over $20, it is very expensive for only 1 curtain panel. I thought the price meant the material was a lot thicker, like velvet. This curtain isn't that thick which is why I question a lot of those 5 star reviews. This curtain is good at blocking light, but I didn't notice much of a difference when it came to noise reduction. I wanted to use a stronger noise reduction material and the Absolute Zero shutter is not like that. You don't get a thick material, so noise-cancellation isn't compromised too much. I think the Absolute Zero curtain is more like a polyester or microfiber blend. In general, it is a normal product whose price is very high.
