I am really impressed with this material. I have used many glues and like to have several types on hand. The biggest problem I have is that virtually ALL bottled or tubed adhesives dry out long before I think they should. I didn't have it long enough to see if it would get better, but I doubt it. It's similar to the Go2Glue I've used and liked and the stuff definitely runs out of puff too quickly. And now for what I LOVE about this glue: I often have to build up the heel of a sandal with some sort of silicone sealant to make the sole thicker. With many plastic and hard rubber sandals, even the silicone flakes off after a while. And an even bigger problem is that NOTHING sticks to the silicone except more silicone, so trying to reattach the buildup to the sandal is only temporary. Guess what, THIS glue REALLY sticks to silicone! I don't know for how long but fixing a pair of sandals seems great so far. I've used it with different types of materials, all with good results. The label says it cannot be used with certain types of plastic. Works with both porous and non-porous materials. The only feature of the instructions is that the part must be clamped or weighed for the first two hours. The glue dries smooth, transparent and hard enough, but not brittle. The instructions state that cured excess glue can be removed from the work area with a scraper or sandpaper, or cut off with a knife.
