My review of the second device I bought: It was even worse than my first experience. The fan runs less than ONE hour. Then it stopped and wouldn't start again. It's terrible. This is a shameful product. good design idea; totally buggy and inoperable result. Do not buy this fan. I want a full refund. no partial refund as offered after failure of the first device. My review of the first device I bought: This design is perfect for the use I envisioned. The fan worked as described, however at higher speeds it vibrates and makes a fairly loud whistle. The bad news is that after 4 uses it stopped working. Tried multiple 12v outlets. It just won't turn on anymore. I asked and was offered a partial refund. What I really want is another model that actually works. (What a concept. A fan running over 4 times!). 2nd unit worked 1 time then failed (bought 2nd time). I inquired again and received a FULL refund. UPDATE 10/16/20: An electronics guru friend evaluated the speed controller and 12v connector and found a blown fuse in the 12v connector. This is probably what happened to my first failed unit. Replaced the blown fuse with a "slow blow" and voila, the fan works again. My advice to the manufacturers - put the BEST FUSE in this fan!
