My cat was about to destroy the sofas in my living room and I had to stop him. I wanted an anti-scratch pad that would allow me to cover his most visited spots. I used aluminum foil while waiting for this to arrive. I bought this because it had the fewest negative reviews and I'm very glad I did. While I applied them and got it wrong the pads didn't remove the residue when I had to smooth them out. Just a small amount. Deleted two weeks later on 05/15/20, brown leather remained on the sofas! It's very sticky on the outside but I don't think I'll notice it, it's just in the corners not where I'm sitting. He looked at it, sniffed it and left. I like that this product comes in two sizes, unlike its competitors. I just wish I didn't have to throw away a lot of paper because there isn't a little label sticking out to remove the white part.
