Review on Excellent Reception Battery Operated Personal AM FM Portable Radio πŸ“» with AAA Batteries, Stero Earphone, Large LCD Screen, Digital Alarm Clock Radio by Juan Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It has good sound, you can fall asleep on the radio, and with headphones there is stereo sound.

Has AM/FM, digital tuning with an easy to read display. The antenna just goes up and down. Sound is decent with the built-in speaker, but if you plug in some in-ear headphones you'll get true stereo sound. Comes with headphones. The radio sleeps for the radio, so you can choose 90, 60, 45, 30, 10 minutes for the sleep setting. That works great. Uses two AAA batteries that you provide. Now for the cons: the controls are very small like volume up/down, the sleep button is also a power button when you press the up button. The power button is difficult to get to turn off the radio. I often had to set the sleep mode to 10 minutes during the day to turn off the radio. You need to adjust the sleep time using the other left and right arrow keys and within a few seconds of hitting the sleep button. The arrow key is also a tuning button. It is difficult to preset stations on this unit. The radio instructions are so tiny you'll need a magnifying glass to read them. The radio can easily be tuned to your station with the up/down tuning knob. There is an alarm clock and a time of day display. Not bad for the price, but it's difficult to turn off the radio by pressing the power button down to turn it off. You also have to press another button to hear stereo sound in headphones, that is, through the radio, and tiny. The radio tunes the stations very well.
