Review on BeBomBasics SP20 - USB Powered Multimedia Small Desktop Speaker for Laptops, PC, and TV – Stereo Sound, 3.5mm Black by Jim Kriegshauser

Bought two sets of these speakers. One for my laptop and one for my son. I took the first set and put them in my laptop and they worked fine for about 10 minutes. Then I heard a loud squeak and they went out completely. My son's pair lasted about 4 days before it stopped working. He turned off his computer for the night and the next morning they didn't even turn on. I have an old set of speakers that we plugged into it and they worked, so it's not one of my laptops. I am not happy. My son's were part of a birthday present.
