The lens is excellent. BUT

Excellent lens. But after 2 hours of use, the LEDs on the front stopped working. Tried different batteries and cables. The lens has never been submerged in water (although that doesn't matter) and has been treated with the utmost care (as it is my most expensive lens purchase to date). Very upset that the LEDs stopped working so quickly since I bought this lens, I needed these lights for tight and dark areas.

Pros

LONG TUBE LENS BODY: With traditional macro lenses you have to get very close to the subject to get a good macro shot. But some areas are just not accessible. With a 15.7 inch (40 cm) long body, you can focus very close to your subject while still keeping yourself and the camera at a reasonable distance.
