Love these shoes but after various wears they are already tearing in the front, though not enough to stop wearing them. The material reminds me of almost a mix of styrofoam and rubber and they are quite comfortable. I bought them in the pink color and I surprisingly get lots of compliments on them. I bought these with intentions of being a good beach shoe, as the beaches in the northeast tend to be rocky and wearing a water shoe can be more comfortable. They are wide so they will fit any size foot. I am an 8, sometimes 8.5, but the 8 fit perfect. I deducted a star for the durability of the shoe, but in general I am satisfied with my purchase. Overall, they are a great seasonal shoe and you'll avoid paying more than a Crocs or Birkenstock version.
