Review on Nikon D7100 DX-Format CMOS Digital πŸ“· SLR (Body Only) with 24.1 Megapixel Sensor by Hiral Gupta ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Compared to the D90, great progress. A juicy, sharp picture, and if you shoot straight, it cuts to the quick. I'm using a DNG converter, don't want to change photoshop. The autofocus adjustment feature is very useful, 50mm 1.4 stopped missing in principle, and now you can shoot at 1.4. It is better not to shoot at 6400 in the dark - there are too many noble noises, as a result, a clear picture is 1.5 MP instead of 24. However, even at 6400 it unexpectedly well, to a pleasant level, retains color. I read somewhere that the video at 60 fps and 1920x1080 is upscale, I checked it - nothing like that, everything is fine. At 30 and 24 fps, I personally see a lot of twitching of objects even at the slowest shutter speed, unlike film - probably a feature of video from DSLRs. Apparatus for 5 points.

Pros
  • The color in the picture is excellent, the megapixels are all honest as one, the autofocus shoots exactly where they say, the video just flies away at 60 fps FullHD, the autofocus adjustment is a bold plus. Lots of buttons, great display, fits perfectly in the hand.
Cons
  • What could be done to get 3 percent of the rating up to a hundred: in the video, make FullHD without additional. crop, improve the in-camera jeep (it lathers significantly compared to that of the D90 and with its own rav), improve work with completely manual lenses (for me, the exposure metering works in a narrow range and for some reason the auto ISO falls off). Buffer (nitpicking). These are trifles.
