I ordered this because my dog wouldn't eat from her regular bowl.she would eat kibble off the floor, or in her kennel. ?!? I thought it would make it interesting for her, especially while we were having dinner.and it worked!She wasn't one of the dogs who scarfs her food down; but this definitely slows her down immensely. She really seems to like it.It is good quality plastic, but I just rinse it out , don't put it in dishwasher. Not that you couldn't, I just don't think it is necessary and will improve lifetime of product. Shipping was fast, and really appreciated that the bowl was exactly as described. I had been looking back and forth between different brands and decided to go with this one because of price, in case I /pup didn't like it.
