I love spoiling my nephew but I also hate buying electronic crap that doesn't give him a chance to work on his skills/coordination or use his imagination. Since it's summer vacation and his mom is a teacher and staying at home with him, I thought this would be a great project for her. In return I got some photos and videos of my 4 year old nephew who was VERY focused on painting his car and train with great care. At the age of 4, his coordination and drawing skills may leave something to be desired, but the stickers that come with him hide a lot of painting sins. The end result looks very professional, even if the paint finish is a bit rough. I would definitely recommend this as a great arts and crafts activity or an affordable birthday gift. Just make sure you have a rag or plenty of newspaper, and a few extra brushes won't hurt.
