I really liked the controller at first and I still like it. But the more you use it, the more the soft, rubbery material immediately flakes off. Might be a good backup controller, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who plays more than once a month.

This is a really good controller. My husband loves it and it works very well. The only downside is that the colored bezel is slightly raised, so some of the buttons don't protrude as much as they should. This doesn't affect the function of the controller, just a little annoying.

I got the red controller in the pictures on Amazon it looks nice and bright but what I got was a porn set in red, and Also a headphone jack has this weird bit of metal that makes it unusable as you can't plug the plug in at all and the controller looks like it has been used and the controller itself would get stuck and stay plugged in but nothing on the do xbox with all buttons until you disable them and then restart

This $90 controller broke less than a month after I bought it for my son's birthday. My problem was that I bought it 3 weeks early to ensure I had it in time for failure day and the Amazon warranty expired a week after his birthday. I am mad about this because this item was in stock at the time. I had no choice. In any case, the problem was that the microphone plugin did not play any sound or the microphone. You just don't hear anything after plugging it in, and yes I've tried several headsets.

I should have read all the reviews before buying. They even sent me a new one; but unfortunately both show signs of wear and have terrible problems with the y key. If you haven't downloaded the test controller app to your Xbox, you're doing yourself a disservice. Both controllers received in this test could not cope with either freedom of movement or button presses. As others have said this remote has probably been used. It came in a different controller box (which I wasn't expecting, but it doesn't matter). The remote control looked great at first glance, but once you pick it up you can feel it immediately. The right side of the remote, where the crease is between the front and back, is slightly open. Packed, dispatched and delivered as expected but as some others have said this is definitely a refurbished unit/controller, wear and tear on the underside is evidence. It was purple so it was forgiving at first as my (6 year old daughter) was happy to have it and it shipped quicker than MSFT's order just in time for the holidays. While the soft feel is nice, it's pretty obvious that this was a used black controller with a purple soft-touch case. Mine came with a few scuffs on it and in the battery compartment (if it were new there wouldn't be as many scuffs as here).
