While the soft feel is nice, it's pretty obvious that this was a used black controller with a purple soft-touch case. Mine came with a few scuffs on it and in the battery compartment (if it were new there wouldn't be as many scuffs as here). Also, the purple front panel wasn't connected properly on one side and has therefore almost completely come loose. A very big disappointment. Save money and go elsewhere or order through X Box. It was a birthday present from my husband and we were both very disappointed. Heck, I opened the box (the box with the Xbox controller was already open though, meaning they had put it back in the box) and there was white fur on the controller before I even fully opened the lid had raised.
