- Disgusting, terrible technical condition, patches randomly breaking what worked and adding new bugs. Zero feedback from developers, company policy based on lies and ignorance, outright deception and user fraud is the norm. Bans for honest players, removal and disappearance of items, revelry for cheaters and hackers, etc. and so on. Broken game mechanics, crooked balance, models and textures sometimes of terrible quality, 85% of assets used from F4. you can continue indefinitely. After one of the patches that "fixed everything" there were constant freezes and crashes. After about the 10th, green squares and purple stripes appeared on the screen, before that the video worked without a single glitch. The map was not new, but it was still very disappointing. The fact that she died precisely because of the crooked hands of the developers of this misunderstanding, no other applications or games were running at that moment.
- The world of Fallout continued to exist, albeit with a different development team. The attempt to adjust the universe for itself was a success, to be honest. Don't let the fans scream and don't stone Bethesda's work, but this is their world now, and their rules of the game. It's better than nothing. Definitely better than the empty abyss after Fallout 2, released back in 1998. HL fans will confirm! Non-aggressive coexistence of players in the world. Surprisingly, this actually works: the players have developed a sense of social antipathy. More often you will encounter people with a high level. This, you know, looks like a calm and unhurried development, without unnecessary meetings with people who have an inferiority complex, trying for some reason to recoup others. Some quests are really enjoyable and don't get boring after a single passage. We are talking about events, daily and others. The main storyline looks vague, which is right. You were given the world online, and there is no desire to be limited to the passage of the plot. And some random encounters and quests are also pleasing with their execution. West Virginia is really beautiful! The Bethesda team managed to make the entourage of the world, which until recently saw flashes and peals from exploding nuclear bombs. The gradual withering of the world, the drying up of rivers and lakes, the slow dying of forests, the fading walls of houses and settlements. Everything looks in place, as it should. Donat existing only on paper. Indeed, you can earn these atoms by completing ordinary events. There are also third-party currencies that are extracted from legendary weapons and armor, or when completing special quests. The game really complacently refers to calm, unhurried players. No jerks, no low-intellectual crooks, no whirlwind battles. Turn on the Pip-Boy 2022 radio and listen to The Chordettes Mr. Sandman (1954) on a campaign through the dying wasteland. Although, I dare say, I have not yet seen further gaming at high and very high levels.
- Bugs. They are real. They were not all caught. It's scary when you can be kicked during or after a fight with a high-ranking mob. This is unpleasantly annoying. The plot has white spots. This is more of a minus for ardent fans, of course. But still, some steps of the developers looked inadequate: the absence of the same people in Appalachia (appeared in Wastelanders), the unfortunate Overseer, the Brotherhood of Steel (suddenly out of nowhere). Nevertheless, the setting requires correct edits and changes, although, as grandfather Marx said, the traditions of past generations weigh like a nightmare over the minds of the living. :) A high level obsessively demands group cohesion. Great if you come with friends, great if you can find a team. Sociopaths and sociophobes will not be helped by the Lone Wanderer perk, alas. However, that's why he's a multiplayer.
- It seems like a semblance of a universe beloved by many (I personally am not particularly happy after part 2). Interesting local quests a la repairing a nuclear power plant, a cannery, and so on group activities. Interesting progression map system. Multiplayer! (Yes, it's good, just bad implementation).
- Bugs, optimization, lack of content as such, in addition to running around locations and collecting garbage. No NPCs and no quest interest because of this. A bunch of cheaters (especially in their piano). Pointless crafting and settlements.
- There is always something to do, the atmosphere, interesting quests.
- Lack of npc, disgusting graphics.
- Huge world to explore Great variety of enemies Rich crafting of weapons in comparison with the 4th part Game support with patches and major content ates The original system of building a build through cards, I have not seen this before, I liked it.
- The game looks, in my opinion, much worse than the 4th part, but it slows down more, it was very difficult to play at 1063.
- Big and varied world. Great location decor. Lots of generated quests, daily events. Ability to interact with other players. Good character development system. The emergence of new quests. New shelters have been added to the game (I have just found shelter 96 so far), which are still functioning normally and there is no access to them - this is content for future patches.
- In shortcomings I will write down only bugs. Most of the worst bugs have been fixed, and only small ones remain, like the periodically crooked character animation. Well, maybe in a month 1-2 times a flight will occur. As for the plot component, I did not form a complete opinion, tk. I did not complete the story quests to the end, but I liked the additional quests.
- What is written mostly refers to comparisons with Fallout 4: - Improved combat, the death of bots has become less tacky. Considering that the lack of a sane combat system in Fallout 3 and New Vegas was one of their main shortcomings, the further improvement of the combat makes a positive impression. - Multiplayer, in general, continues the traditions of the Fallout 4 gameplay. The absence of bots talking on dialogue branches does not significantly spoil the gameplay. - Improved shaders, many existing models have clearly become more high-poly - Modified models of some characters. The models in F4 were based on Fallout 3 concepts and were mostly created by Adam Adamovich, who drew similar concepts for TES 4-5. Although Adamovich's vision of design cannot be called bad (he was a high-class professional, but not the highest class, as they sometimes try to imagine), when implemented in 3d, they turned out to be overloaded with small details and looked too exaggerated. Departure from Adamovich's design, I consider it a plus - High-quality game world. It is almost similar to F4, in some ways even more elaborate. In this sense, the game leaves behind any multiplayer competitors. - Most likely, there will be NPCs with dialogues. This indicates the further development of the project, which again pleases - The added battle royale is sure to please fans of the genre. Definitely better than the similar one in Warface, although it is not bad there (despite the general criticism of Warface)
- - Inconvenient controls, now even different from F4 (workshop). And in F4, the default control was already disgusting. At the same time, changing keys for some commands is not available from the game menu - Advanced graphics settings are not available from the game menu. You can’t just take and choose even a smoothing method - Mediocre optimization, no CrossfireX support. - A purely multiplayer loot system (I would prefer a similar F4)
- Atmosphere, I like to wander and get lost in the post-apocalyptic world.
- Terrible optimization. The game freezes and lags on a very strong system. Disgusting game balance and a high level of difficulty for such a game, although I do not consider myself a noob. Lots of bugs. Quests often do not start, do not end, are not marked on the map and you have to restart the server in order for them to appear. The game regularly freezes, sometimes in the most critical places of the quest, progress is lost. The game may not let you into the server for a long time, you enter from 5-15 attempts. Instead of solving numerous critical problems, the developers are sawing an amazing, to put it mildly, slag in the form of santatrons and new emotions for the photo mode.
- Name of the game
- A bug on a bug driven by a bunch of bugs! Online no one, you will not find people with fire during the day! In short: This product is a piece of feces regurgitated by a company greedily stuffing money into its pockets.
