I bought this to light up the hallways on either side of our living room so my 7 year old can see going to the toilet or our bedroom at night. When I first plugged it in I didn't think it would be bright enough. I turned on the light again, told about my evening and turned off the light to go to bed. Not sure if it just took a little while to turn on or what, but it was bright enough in the end! At first I thought I might have to order two or three more of these lights to light up our very long hallways and living room, but one of them illuminates a 20 foot radius! Mind you, saying this, it obviously doesn't fill the room with light - after all, it's a night light, enough for faint vision and not bumping into any furniture. I like it!
