I used an old USB 2.0 hub before and it is outdated. After doing some research on good USB hubs, I decided to try the ByEasy hub. I am not disappointed! Plug in, switch on and ready to use. The only downsides (and hardly any downsides) are that it's small and not heavy. So if you want it to stay in place, you need to secure it somehow. Also, the USB connectors might require some force to snap into place, but it absolutely does NOT look like I've damaged the device and it seems very solid. I highly recommend this hub! Very pleasant to use and worth every dollar.
