I know that several reviews have said that this large router vibrates a lot. I have not experienced this. I ran it with a 3.5 hp router. in a cast iron router table at full speed and it didn't vibrate. It really sounded like a jet engine, so wear hearing protection. However, with a cutter this large, it cuts cleanly as it makes multiple passes to remove more material, it's difficult to maintain a constant 90-degree angle on the workpiece, and you'll wobble in the cut if it even moves little moved . It might be better to do it all in one go, but I was afraid I wouldn't have any chips in that case. All in all he really wanted me to have it done and it was good value for money.
