Heavy but works great
I've had an OXO ice cream scoop for years and I also got one as a gift from Baskin Robbins. Baskin Robbins One is actually the better of the two, but this No Mess scoop from KitchenAid definitely takes the ice cream cake. good shovel with it. I also like the design of the handle that allows you to place the spoon on the counter without the head touching the counter. The handle is a little heavier than probably ideal if you're scooping a lot at a party or social event, but otherwise it's a pretty perfect ice cream scoop.
