Not recommended for split bolts

Yes I bought this gun 3 years ago. I drove less than a box of nails and the back seal broke. Very disappointed. I had to buy a Bostic like my other guns.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good Product: Fastener

These nails work well with my spiral plate nail gun. They lead true and hold fast. I found that my nail gun didn't give consistent results when pounding on my toes, but I believe that was due to the soft ring on the gun's nose.

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Minor Issues

Impeccable performance. Highly recommended!

Here are the nails you need for your facade. Holds up very well. They eat excellently. No rust yet. I've used them in Makita and Bostitch with no problems. Impeccable performance. I want everything to work as well as they do.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Many accessories

The coils weren't round and didn't work in our nail gun.

We needed these nails to build the fence. I liked that it had a lot of nails as we had to build a lot of fences. At least 4 turns of the nails were damaged. The box arrived as if it had been dropped and as a result the nails were no longer round and would not work in the Bostitich nailer because they were so misshapen. They looked oval and were most likely dropped during transport. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • old

Fits Hardie Plank Siding

Box arrived in good condition including nail spools. Lots of complaints about coils dangling or coming loose; However, each spool in my box was in good condition with an attached elastic. They fit perfectly on my hardie plank setup and are used in my bostich siding gun. I chose a 2 inch nail over a shorter one as I had a thicker shell installed and wanted the nail to have a good penetration into the stud and drive the nail in with no issues.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Nails work great! I tried almost 2 cases with my new shotgun, which I also bought here. I probably had 5 dropouts for 6000 nails. They are also very easy to load and each coil lasts a LONG time. You can't load more than 50 nails at a time with my frame gun, so I keep stopping to load it. I can upload one of these roles in maybe 1 minute and only have to upload it every 1-2 hours. Very beautiful design!

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Those bad boys

Great nails! They walk right in and they all line up in a beautiful spiral like a bunch of chorus girls. Too bad they don't hit together. The outer zinc coating is also pretty sexy, suitable for outdoor work. I used them to install Hardie (fiber cement) siding. If you plan to live in an entire house (including a 2 car garage), buy 2 of these boxes. You'll need all 7,000 of these baddies to complete the job, which involves attaching 1/2-inch skins and then disguising them. Above.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Not round like other reviews

If you look at reviews of Bostitch helix nails the complaints are the same as mine: coils arrived flattened and bent out of circle and twisted in shape. For the homeowner looking for a barn side, straightening the coils is no big deal. They were double boxed and shipped across the country and the nails slipped off so badly there was confetti from a piece of paper on the nails. Again, good for the homeowner, but if you're a pro or buying more than one box, get them locally. In addition, I fired…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
