Very easy to use, works great with remote controls and the adhesion works well. However, they are a bit dark. If they were brighter they would be perfect. TO UPDATE. When I first reviewed these lamps I was quite happy with them but after a few weeks I had to update my review as I am not at all happy with these lamps at the moment. Batteries drain very quickly and they seem to get darker and darker every time we use them and we don't use them for more than maybe an hour a day. I love how easy they are to use, but that's about it. You get what you pay for, I suggest spending the extra money and getting better quality shims.
