UPDATE: My replacement unit also failed in the first month. 2/3 of these heaters fail within a month. On a positive note, this is a smart heater. There are few others (besides the one that needs to be wall mounted) although it is one of the most obvious essential smart devices. In addition, its connectivity is excellent. Immediate and constant response. Unfortunately, it has several serious flaws that have generally disappointed me a lot: 1. The temperature sensor is extremely defective. It will show 65 degrees one moment and 70 degrees the next second and then 60 degrees. Given that most people primarily need it to heat up to a set temperature, the fact that it can accurately and consistently measure temperature really makes it a lot less useful. In addition, it only provides heat when the set temperature is 4 degrees higher than its detection. This means that you should be comfortable with a temperature of at least 4 degrees (at least 6 degrees in practice, given the temperature sensor). In practice this means that as long as it stays on one setting (66 degrees for me) I'll wake up too cold when it's not running and 62 degrees, and also too hot when it heats up to 70.3. Also FWIW, I bought two of these right away. One started smelling and smoking after 1 week and the other works fine. I return the lemon and can return both. Minor Complaints: 1. The app has an annoying popup asking you if you want to turn off the heating after it's been "on" for 24 hours (it's considered on even if it's not running and only measuring temperature ). I can't close this popup and I have to open and close the app multiple times to get around it. The bottom row of lamps is on 24/7, which is not optimal for the room you want to sleep in.3. The settings of whether the screen shows the temperature and whether it pumps are reset every time you turn it off and on again; It would be nice if they were saved like a temperature setting.
